Meet Maya MacBeth
Hi, I'm Maya MacBeth. I believe healing happens in a relationship where you feel truly safe, with someone who meets your history with care rather than judgment, and who has the training to hold the hardest parts of your story with you.
The ways we learn to cope often make perfect sense given what we have been through. Over time, those same patterns can leave us feeling stuck, disconnected, or overwhelmed. I work with individuals and couples navigating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, attachment injuries, infidelity, and the lasting effects of sexual abuse and assault. If you are caught in patterns you cannot seem to shift, or carrying something that has never felt fully safe to explore, this is a space built for exactly that work.
I hold advanced certification in Complex Trauma (CCTP-II) and Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), with additional training in DBT and PTSD treatment. I integrate trauma-informed, attachment-based, emotion-focused, and cognitive-behavioural approaches, tailored to each person. I also offer sessions in Russian.
Lasting change begins with understanding yourself, not judging yourself. Whether you are navigating the impact of trauma, working through relationship injuries, or feeling stuck in recurring patterns, I offer a safe and collaborative space to explore, heal, and rebuild. When you are ready, I would be glad to connect.
